1) In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

The layout of my magazine cover for school follows the convention of how a reader reads a magazine (From the top left to the bottom right) this is why the main stories are to the left of the page. The main stories are all linked together to make it easier for the reader to view and decided where to read. The photos are laid out on the centre of the page; this is because the pictures are the most important part to make readers choose this magazine as it is eye catching. The main headline is in the corner left page because, the viewer s need to be able to see the title of the magazine to see what they are actually going to read.  I added a barcode to the bottom right of the magazine this ensures that the magazine has all the elements that a professional magazine has traditionally. I also added page numbers so the readers find it easier to find the key sections in the magazines that are the most important parts of the magazine which I want the viewers to read. Some of the images where cropped to fit with the other images that where put onto the magazine these where cropped through the use of photo shop.
